I walked into the building above, while biking through the MacGillacuddy Reeks. Some kids obviously came here to drink and hang out, judging by the litter inside. Still, there was a weird otherworldly feeling to those buildings. People had lived and died in this building one hundred and fifty years ago. They may have succumbed to the famine. They may have been forced to emigrate from the starvation; or they may have been evicted by cruel landlords, left to die on the roads. It's just a creepy feeling to know all this see these monuments to their lives still standing all over the island.

I've had a few strange things happen in my life. I can't claim they were DEFINITELY paranormal events, but they do make for an interesting story on a Halloween night. Below, you'll find a link to my own experience in a "haunted" apartment building. And, for fun, there's a link to the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
