Notes:
Michelle Lynn (Shelly) Humphrey was born in Chicago, IL where her family lived until 1975, age 7, when they moved to Fairfax, Virginia. She lived there until 1982 when she was 15 and moved to Dallas, Texas. Shelly lived in Dallas through high school and went to college at the University of Texas at Austin graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting. She then began working for Coopers & Lybrand a public accounting firm in Dallas where she stayed until she married Timothy Patrick O'Brien. Shelly and Tim met in college on the rowing team. Tim was the stroke and Shelly the coxswain (sitting in front of the stroke, steering and yelling). They were married September 7,1991 in Dallas and moved to San Diego, California. Shelly transferred with Coopers & Lybrand and Tim was an F-14 pilot in the Navy. They stayed there and in 1996 had a son Benjamin Patrick O'Brien, March 18,1996, and later that summer moved to Virginia Beach, VA. They now have two more sons, Nicholas Timothy O'Brien born March 8,1996 and Duncan Michael O'Brien born May 8, 2001. Shelly has worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (new name after merger) for 12 years now, part time after the kids, and will be working for KPMG Peat Marwick (local office is being sold to another Big 5 public accounting firm) effective October 1, 2001. Tim has recently left the active duty Navy and become a pilot for Delta airlines although he plans to stay in the Navy reserves. We are happy in Virginia Beach and enjoying having our Humphrey side of the family close by with Shelly's sister Marcia in Arlington, VA and the Humphrey grandparents in Vienna, VA. Both are only 3.5 hours away. I enjoy my family, husband and children, golf, running, skating, biking, cooking, the mountains and the BEACH, and most things in life.
