Notes:
I spent most of his childhood years in Mt. Morris, MI. My family and I lived on North Genessee Rd, three houses north-west of Frances Rd. I was very imaginative as a child; I constantly found new uses for ordinary toys and enjoyed creating "new" games. I also watched a LOT of television.

When I was nine, my parents divorced. A few years later, both parents re-married. I moved to Columbiana County, Ohio with my mother and sisters during fifth grade. The Miller's, Jim's family, very much became a part of our extended family during that time. Jim's parent's and his sister's family both lived within a short bicycle ride of our house.

We lived in an old farm house that had been in the Miller family for many years... on Miller Rd. Both in Ohio and later in Kent County, Maryland we worked on Holstein Dairy farms. Although I have a healthy respect and appreciation for dairy farms, I also determined that I didn't want to be a farmer. Lots of hard work!

I moved in with my Dad in the summer 1988, my junior year of high school. I graduated from Linden High School 1990, and the family moved to Flushing. I lived there a year, then moved to Flint. I've lived in the city of Flint almost ten years; I briefly lived in Lansing.

Heather and I were engaged during our first trip to New England. As of this writing, 2005, we rent an apartment in Gaithersburg, MD. We're very happy together with our son Jason and our two cats, Tater and Thomspon. Both of us are musicians; I play bass, guitar, and sing, Heather sings and plays guitar. I've been a contributing writer for the Flint Journal since 1996. I've also been a salesman, a Webmaster, a technical writer, and a computer technician. I'm currently a technical writer at the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), one of the National Institutes of Health. I completed my associates degree in Web design at Baker College in 2002 and my English degree at the University of Michigan-Flint in 2004.

I've been to Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland, Italy, France and the Bahamas, know some German and French, and a lot of sign language. Heather and I lived in Paris from June-early September 2002.
