Salome is mentioned in the death certificate of Frederick Kimmer II and in Frederick Kimmer II's 1891 Chapman Brothers "Calhoun County Portrait and Biographical Album" biography.

The Chapman Brothers state that "... the widow subsequently came to America with her family, landing in New York and going at once to Stark County, Ohio where she died two years later, in 1854. Her children were four in number and all are still living."
